Our Process
Step 1: Your appointment
Make an appointment with your Wisdom Homes sales consultant to discuss your package and any requirements you have regarding floor plan and inclusions.
Step 2: Initial Building Deposit ($2000)
You will pay an initial building deposit of $2,000. The package will remain off the market for 10 business days.
In some instances, you will need to pay an initial deposit with a land developer in addition to the above building deposit.
Step 3: Signing the contract
Building Contract
After the initial deposit is paid, you will be allocated a Wisdom Homes tender & contract presenter. They will book your contract signing appointment and provide you with copy of our Building Contract for your perusal. The 5% deposit is payable at your Contract signing appointment.
Land Contract
Wisdom Homes will request the land contract is sent to your solicitor. You will need to make an appointment with your solicitor regarding the land contract. The 5% deposit on the land is arranged through your solicitor and is required to exchange the land contracts.
The building contract is dependent on signing and exchanging the land contract.
Colour selection
Fixed Packages
You will choose your colours at your contract signing appointment from colour boards. These colour boards are pre-selected internal combinations put together by our expert team at Canvas Quarter.
Flexible packages:
Momentum
You will choose your colours at your contract signing appointment from colour boards. These colour boards are pre-selected internal combinations put together by our expert team at Canvas Quarter.
W Collection
You will be contacted by our Canvas Quarter colour consultant to book in you colour selection appointments.
Stage 4: Approvals
Once you have signed your contracts you will be assigned a Pre-Construction Consultant, they will contact you and support you on the next steps of the building process.
Your plans will be submitted to the relevant authorities for approval to construct.
Step 5: Settlement of Land
Your solicitor or conveyancer will advise you of a settlement date and co-ordinate settlement for you. Once settlement has occurred, we can commence the Building process. You will need to notify your pre-construction consultant so they are ready for your Land settlement and can prepare next steps in your build journey.
Step 6: Site Start
Congratulations! The construction of your new home will now commence, you will be allocated your dedicated construction supervisor who will project manage the construction of your home and provide you with key updates throughout the build.
